Taking a Break
Take a short time-out whenever you want to step back, reset and come back refreshed.
-
1. What a break is
A break, sometimes called a time-out, is a short pause from playing that you switch on yourself through GameSense. During a break you cannot place new plays or deposit, but your account stays open and your balance is safe. A break is a lighter step than Game Break self-exclusion and is ideal when you simply want some breathing room.
-
2. How long a break lasts
You can choose a break of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days directly from your account. The break starts as soon as you confirm it and ends automatically when the period is over, so there is nothing else you need to do. If you want a longer or open-ended pause, consider Game Break (Voluntary Self-Exclusion) instead.
-
3. What happens during a break
While a break is active, play and deposits are blocked, and we pause promotional emails and notifications so you are not tempted back before you are ready. You can still log in to view your history, withdraw a verified balance, or contact Customer Support. A break cannot be cancelled early; this is intentional, so the pause does its job.

4. Coming back after a break
When your break ends, play becomes available again automatically. We encourage you to use the time to review your deposit and time limits and adjust them if needed. If you find you want more time away, you can start another break or move to Game Break (Voluntary Self-Exclusion) at any point. Taking regular breaks is a healthy habit, even when nothing feels wrong.
