Oversight of gambling in British Columbia is provided by the Independent Gambling Control Office (IGCO). Our services comprise lotteries (including Lotto Max, Lotto 6/49, BC/49, Extra, Keno and BC 50/50), casino / eGaming and sports betting, in each case only to the extent BCLC is authorized to offer them in British Columbia.

-
4. Eligibility
You may use our services only if you are 19 years of age or older; are resident in and physically located in British Columbia, where gambling with BCLC is lawful; are not currently self-excluded through Game Break / Voluntary Self-Exclusion; act on your own behalf and not for any third party; and are not a person whose participation is restricted (for example, certain BCLC personnel or related parties). We may refuse registration or close an Account where we reasonably believe you do not meet these requirements. Our services are available only within British Columbia; BCLC is not authorized to offer gambling outside the province.
-
5. Registration and verification
You may hold only one (1) Account; multiple accounts are prohibited. You must provide complete, accurate and current information (full name, date of birth, residential address in British Columbia, email, phone) and keep it up to date. Before you obtain full access and before any withdrawal, we are required to verify your identity, age and British Columbia residency (KYC), consistent with the AML legislation and our regulatory obligations. We may request identity documents through our Document Upload tool and request additional information; your Account may be restricted until verification is complete. Your login details are personal and confidential, and you are responsible for all activity on your Account.
-
6. Residency and location
Our services are available only to persons who are resident in and physically located in British Columbia. We may use location and residency checks to confirm eligibility, and may restrict access where these checks do not confirm that you are within British Columbia.
-
7. Voluntary Self-Exclusion (Game Break)
We check the Game Break / Voluntary Self-Exclusion status of players at registration and at login. If you are enrolled in Voluntary Self-Exclusion, you may not open an account or play during the exclusion period, and we will suspend or close your Account for its duration. You can learn more and enrol on our Voluntary Self-Exclusion and Responsible Gaming (GameSense) pages.
-
8. Deposits, withdrawals and payment methods
All transactions are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Permitted payment methods are those we make available for British Columbia players. Funds must come from an account in your own name; third-party deposits are not accepted. Withdrawals are paid to a verified payment instrument in your name and only after identity verification is complete. We may delay or refuse a withdrawal where we suspect fraud or money laundering, where verification is incomplete, or where required by law (AML).
-
9. Responsible gambling and player protection
When you register you are encouraged to set a deposit limit and other limits through GameSense. Free self-control tools are available: deposit limits, loss limits, time/session limits, reality checks and taking a break. A decrease to a limit takes effect immediately; an increase takes effect only after the applicable waiting period. We monitor accounts for signs of harmful play and provide responsible-gambling information and support through GameSense.
-
10. Game rules and outcomes
All play is accepted subject to the applicable game rules, which form part of these Terms. Lottery prizes are determined by the relevant draw and prize structure. Outcomes of eligible casino / eGaming games are determined by a certified random number generator (RNG) that is independently tested — see our Fairness & RNG Testing Methods page. The rules cover settlement, void or abandoned events, disputes and maximum payouts. In the event of an obvious error or malfunction, our records prevail and affected plays may be corrected, refunded or voided.
-
11. Prohibited conduct
The following are strictly prohibited: providing false information or using false identities; opening or using multiple accounts; use of bots, software or exploitation of errors; money laundering or terrorism financing; and any manipulation of games or events. We may suspend or close your Account, freeze your balance, void affected plays and notify the relevant authorities.
-
12. Responsible gambling
Gambling is entertainment, not a way to make money or solve financial problems. See our Responsible Gaming (GameSense) page for the full range of tools and support. For confidential support in British Columbia, contact the BC Responsible & Problem Gambling Program at 1-888-795-6111 (24/7).
-
13. Liability
We take reasonable steps to keep the website secure, fair and available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the balance in your Account at the time of the relevant event, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under applicable mandatory consumer law.
